The grip is a HorusBennu grip attached to a Manfrotto 200PL style quick
release plate, a special plate made by HorusBennu for their grips. It
allows you to use the camera, with the grip attached, on a Manfrotto
RC2 Rapid Connect Adapter.
Sample pictures: You may click
on the sample image (except closest focus) for full resolution. The
full resolution image opens in a new window, so you can keep it open
for comparison. Focus is on the
satellite
dish in the center of the photo. ISO 160.
There is no F 1.8 sample photo. I forgot to adapt the ISO setting and
with a camera limit of 1/8000s the picture is overexposed. But it is
quite sharp, no problem wide open.
F 4
F 8.
F 16.
Closest focus is only 75cm from
outermost
edge of the lens, F 8. Focus on
the top of the camera.
Already wide open
picture sharpness is fine. Stopped
down it's really good and very contrasty. The lens has moderate close
focussing
capablities.
Konica AR lenses are 40.5mm FFD. This is shorter than most of the
others, except M39. So the adapters are shorter as well. On top of
this, AR lenses are very compact.
