Closest focus is 0.80m from outermost edge of the lens. Focus on the program wheel of the camera.

This old lens was sold for Braun Paxette cameras. Wide open it's a bit soft, in my lens there is a little bit of fungus. Stopped down it's fine. At F8 you can see what it is capable of, inspite of its defaults. Seen that the lens is nearly shaded it's short and light, even if you add the adapters. A nice lens.

The M39 Paxette Mount is the same thread as ordinary M39 (Leica), but  a different flange focal distance.
