As this lens does not cover full format (unless you want a Lomo style heavy vignetting), you have to set your camera to crop mode. Wide open it is already very nice. It's not small and not lightweight, the 70-130mm in crop mode brings it to a portrait to tele lens. So seen its possibilities it's a great lens. And it's a nice lens for the APS-C series cameras, like the A5000/6000, but modern lenses are smaller.
