Closest focus is 55cm from outermost edge of the lens, F 8. Focus on the program wheel of the camera.

This lens, which I had in stock, surprised me for such an old lens design. Picture sharpness is good, even wide open. Stopped down it's excellent. If you only want a tele lens from time to time, this is a good choice. It has good capabilities of close focussing due to a close focus setting, but with a shallow DOF. Although it's quite big and heavy, it's a good in-case-of lens.
