This old
lens
was sold for Braun Paxette cameras. This is
the first version of the Steinheil 50mm, slightly bigger and much
heavier than the Staeble. Wide open
it's soft towards the edges. Stopped down it's fine. At F16 you can see
what it is
capable of. It's
an astonishing little lens, nice, seen it's price.
The M39 Paxette Mount is the same thread as ordinary M39 (Leica), but
a different flange focal distance. Please refer to the Paxette
